Software
Tools that stop until you say go.
Local-81 holds the fleet. Three more tools chain behind it: render, review, then print or talk. Each one defaults to dry-run.

Control plane · used every day
Local-81
Local-81 is the deploy and runbook control plane for a fleet of Linux hosts. It pushes over plain SSH and rsync. There is no agent and no daemon on the machines. You onboard, write the desired state, deploy it, repair drift, and prove the run.
Portwright Labs runs it every day. It is one of the linchpins of the business. The sites, the software, and the managed storefronts only stay true if the hosts match the plan and the next operator can show what ran. Local-81 is that plan, and that proof.
- 01
Onboard the fleet
Keys, ssh-copy-id, and a read-only sweep of uptime and tooling. You get a readiness report per host. Nothing is installed on the targets.
- 02
Plan, deploy, repair
Desired state goes out by rsync and is content-addressed by SHA-256. deploy --check finds drift. A converge repairs only what moved. Upgrade and rollback use the same plan.
- 03
Prove the run
Every run is hash-chained into a Merkle ledger. audit verify recomputes the chain. audit prove shows inclusion. audit emit can post a signed receipt.
Secrets stay references — env, OpenBao, SOPS, or Delinea — never literals. Compliance checks are read-only. They advise. They do not certify, and they do not change the host. A Semaphore UI or an n8n workflow can sit in front. The CLI stays the engine.
The chain
Render, review, then print or talk.
01
Print-on-demand line
TeeEmpire
A multi-brand merch pipeline: concept, image, Printify mockups, a local approve-or-reject gate, then Etsy and social — only when you say live.
It does not auto-publish. Dry-run is the default. Printify, Etsy, and PostBridge stay simulated until you pass --live.
02
Talking cuts
ClemTock
Local vertical video of a cartoon that actually speaks your line. Lip sync, ad scripts, and an export — offline for the cartoon path, no API bill required.
The repo name stays ClemTock. Jimmer is the person on the studio site. Photoreal avatars are optional and external; the cartoon path does not need them.
03
Brand-aware renders
Portrender
One operator turns a brand prompt into images, approves or edits them, and hands the yes to TeeEmpire, ClemTock, or AU2. Portrender itself publishes nothing.
It is not a storefront and not a social scheduler. It renders, reviews, and hands off. Spend is counted; it is not hidden.
The measured claims soak is on the proof page. A private customer walkthrough is not published here.
